Bridget was born, raised and educated in Berkeley, California. After marrying in 1965, she moved to San Francisco's West Portal District where they successfully raised three children.
Prior to entering the real estate industry, Bridget spent more than 10 years in the legal field. After serving as a legal aid for the Alameda County Juvenile Courts, she assisted a number of local law and tax practices with real estate and tax related matters, including probate. Before joining The Barbagelata Co., she also served as Office Manager to the West Portal Merchant's Association and acting Broker for another West Portal area real estate firm.
Over the past 18 years, Bridget has specialized in the sale of finer residential properties throughout San Francisco. She currently enjoys a successful real estate partnership with her daughter, Joan Breslin.
When asked what she enjoys most about real estate, Bridget stated:
"What I enjoy most is dealing with the public as well as the competitive aspects of this industry. My philosophy has always included straightforward honesty, openness, fairness and loyalty. What clearly sets me apart from other agents is my strong work ethic and people skills. I simply outwork my competition through actively coordinating and following through with all aspects of each sale, even beyond the close of escrow. My extensive real estate knowledge, especially the legal aspects of real estate, has served my clients well over the years."
Although spare time is rare, Bridget also enjoys competitive tennis (she's USTA rated), gardening on beautiful San Francisco days and golfing at her summer home in the Russian River.

As a second generation native San Franciscan and lifelong apprentice to the real estate industry, Joan brings extensive finance, accounting, and contract administration experience to The Barbagelata Co.
After graduating from the University of San Francisco, she joined one of the "Big Six" public accounting firms where she learned the true value of quality customer service, professionalism, and hard work. Later, she served as a senior manager for a leading discount brokerage firm where she specialized in identifying and mitigating company risk exposure. Over the years, Joan has earned the reputation of being down-to-earth, intelligent and hardworking. As a result, she has forged strong relationships with her clients, contacts and associates. Joan currently enjoys a successful real estate partnership with her mother, Bridget Breslin.
When asked what she enjoys most about real estate, Joan stated:
"Being a Realtor doesn't feel like just another job. It's something I get excited about and enjoy investing time in. It also allows ongoing opportunities to get know so many San Franciscans - both natives and new comers! Being a native myself, my style includes keeping things down-to-earth, streight forward and stress free while putting my high energy, motivation and know-how to work for my clients."
When not actively selling and touring homes, Joan enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also enjoys playing the role of amateur photographer and chef. Sharing a relaxing meal and good bottle of wine with family and friends is her favorite way to go when she needs to unwind.
